Air Travels
KOTOKA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, ACCRA
The most direct and convenient airport for air-travel to Accra, venue of the WCPTA Congress 2010.
Kotoka International Airport (IATA code: ACC) is located in Accra the capital city of Ghana and is the main airport serving Ghana. Kotoka International Airport consists of an international and a domestic terminal.

The Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons Accra, venue for the WCPTA Congress is about 20 minutes drive from the Airport. Delegates arriving via Kotoka International Airport can arrange to be picked (see accommodation arrangements on www.wcptafrica.org) or will need to take an airport taxi/shuttle to their hotel and/or the Conference Centre.

Road Travels
Bus Terminals
There are a few bus terminals in Accra for international arrivals by road. Delegates arriving by road can also arrange to be picked for a fee (when prior notice is made to the Local Organizing Committee or the Ghana Association of Physiotherapists) or will need to take a taxi/shuttle to their hotel and/or the Conference Centre.

Travels within Accra
For ground transportation within Accra, you can connect different parts of the City by taxis, buses.
Car Rental services are also available at most of the accredited hotels, the airport and other parts of Accra. For instance, if you choose to commute by yourself in Accra and beyond, using a rental car, you may do so. Your international driver's license and a credit card/cash will be required.
