Priscillah is a Physiotherapist of over 10 years experience majoring in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. She carries a special interest in Sports Physiotherapy plus Occupational Health and Ergonomics. Exposure to varying clients has seen her gain expertise in palliative rehabilitation, and harbors skills in training, program development, management and administration.
Priscillah is a member of the Uganda Association of Physiotherapy (UAP) and has served on the UAP in a number of capacities; notably executive committee member in charge of public Image and relation of the Association. she is a past President during whose term of office, Physiotherapy in Sports started gaining appreciation in Uganda, and this has carried on to date as Physiotherapy is continually indulged in sport.
Priscillah holds a Diploma in Physiotherapy, a Bachelor’s Degree in Development Studies and is pursuing an online Masters Degree in Public Health majoring in Epidemiology.
She manages a Physiotherapy Consultancy that, in addition to Clinical Physiotherapy, does capacity building in Occupational Health and Ergonomics. The agency lobbies and advocates for expansion of Physiotherapy to areas where it is needed but not yet well appreciated or utilized such as NCDs.
To reach where she is now, Priscillah has exploited her quite excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adding them to a passion to empower others while sharpening her skill in developing proposals, report writing, training and evaluation.
When she is not a Physiotherapist or you’ll find her at a voluntary Rotary community project anywhere in Uganda. On some mornings, catch her jogging in the outskirts of Kampala or at the Cricket oval. At her most passive, she’ll be found in a stadium cheering the Uganda cranes on or watching a football game.
