Edwina Oliver is a physiotherapist practicing in the beautiful Cape Town, South Africa.
She is a graduate of the University of the Western Cape and the University of Stellenbosch with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Exercise Science (2004), Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy (2007) and has a Master of Science degree in Physiotherapy specializing in Orthopedic Manual Therapy (2011) respectively.
She completed her community service at Tygerberg Hospital (2008), which is a Tertiary Academic Hospital. She has a total of nine years’ experience working in the private as well as the public sector with a solid commitment to effective and high quality patient care.
Edwina’s current areas of expertise include musculoskeletal physiotherapy, orthopedics, occupational injury and ergonomics.
Currently she is employed at a private physiotherapy practice where in conjunction with occupational therapists, they focus on occupational health following injuries sustained on duty, the case management thereof and promoting the employee’s return to work. Her interest; are in professional development and continuous learning within all areas. Currently she has a started a qualification in BCompt. Financial Accounting Science (part time) at the University of South Africa, which she is working towards completing in 2019. She is currently a member serving on the Financial Committee of the South African Society of Physiotherapy.
